Description

I am an urban explorer at heart. Yeah, I can do the photojournalism well. Yeah I can do portraits. Yeah, you name it, I can figure it out. My favorite shooting though, is somewhere touched by man, then abandoned to decay and eventually be reclaimed by nature. I like things so massive I can't manipulate the composition. Whether it is crumbling architecture or decay landscapes I love seeing this phase of the cycle.

I guess you could call this rural exploring. I found an abandoned junkyard along a Texas county road. I had my Calumet CC-400, and four sheets of Bergger Pancro 400 with me, a tripod,  and sunny 16. Yes. I pulled over. This is one of the four shots I took.
